Nekst 3.0 is here. The whole app has been rebuilt around the features we've shipped this year (Task Flags, Filter Presets, Custom Stages, Notes Hover, and more), so everything finally feels like one cohesive experience. Cleaner layout, faster pages, and a foundation that lets us roll out new features faster from here.

You can now filter the Tasks page (and the Tasks tab inside any transaction) by Primary Agent.
Pick an agent from the new PRIMARY AGENT section in the filter panel and your task list narrows to just that agent's deals. Pair it with Saved Filter Presets and you've got one-click per-agent task views, perfect for transaction coordinators juggling multiple agents.
Filter results respect existing visibility rules, so you only see tasks on transactions you already have access to.

When a task gets finished late, marking it complete with today's date used to throw off every dependent deadline calculated from it. Now you can pick the actual date the work was done β a calendar dropdown sits right next to the Mark Complete pill in the task drawer.
If the task has Dependent Tasks, Nekst asks whether to recalculate them from the date you picked or from today. Pick the option that matches reality and your downstream deadlines stay accurate without manual cleanup.

You can also edit the completion date of an already-completed task by clicking the pencil on the green Completed {date} pill.

You can now create your own colored Task Flags - High Priority, On Hold, Waiting on Response, Coming Soon, whatever fits how you work - and apply one to any task on the Tasks page.
Set up your flags in Settings > Task Flags, then click the flag icon on any task row to assign one. Filter the Tasks page by any combination of flags, and your selection saves into Filter Presets so the view sticks.
Every flag change is also recorded in History, so you can audit who flipped what and when.
Available to every Nekst account automatically.

You can now add your own labels to every transaction. Inspections, Coming Soon, Awaiting Financing, Clear to Close - whatever fits how you actually run a deal.
Stages show up as colored pills on your Transactions list and on each transaction page. Filter by stage, hide the ones you don't want to see today, and stay focused on the deals that need you.
Set them up in Settings β Setup β Custom Stages (Owner / Admin only). All team members can assign a stage to any transaction they have access to.
Status (Active, Closed, Archived) hasn't changed. Stages are a separate layer on top of it.

Hover over the Notes icon on any row of the Transactions page to see every note on that deal - content, author, date - without opening the transaction.
The popover scrolls, lets you add a note in place, and has a "View all" link to the full Transaction Detail page. Each row's icon also shows a count badge so you know at a glance which transactions have notes to review.
Fastest way yet to check or drop in a note while scanning your list.

Build any filter combination on the Tasks, Transactions, Calendar, or Contacts page, save it as a preset, and jump back to that view with one click.

Name each preset ("Pending Only", "My Deals", "Past Due SF") so you stop reconfiguring filters every visit. Set any preset as the default for a page and it loads automatically next time you open it.

No limit on how many you can save. Each page keeps its own presets.

You can now designate a Primary Agent on any transaction.
For coordinators managing deals across multiple agents, this makes it easy to see who owns each transaction at a glance. A "Primary Agent" column appears on your Transactions list by default, and you can filter your view by agent.
Set the Primary Agent during Step 5 of transaction creation by clicking the star icon next to any party. You can also update it anytime from the transaction page by clicking a party's name and toggling the star in the detail modal.

The Primary Agent can be a Team Member or a Transaction Party, so it works even when the agent doesn't have a seat on your team.

You can now select more than one workflow when creating a transaction.
Pick a primary workflow for your core tasks, then layer on secondary workflows for specific scenarios. Think of it like building blocks: your standard "Buyer Side" workflow plus a "Relocation Package" add-on or agent-specific task list.
All tasks merge into one plan. Primary tasks come first, secondary tasks follow. Each task is labeled with its source workflow so you always know where
it came from.
You can also add workflows to transactions that are already in progress. New tasks append to the end without touching anything already in place.
Workflows must share the same Type and Market to be combined. The primary workflow's detail fields take priority when there are conflicts.
