Let the user choose the completion date

If a task is completed before today, and has dependent tasks, there is not a way to check the task off using a prior date. As a result, all Dependent tasks also need manually adjusted.

Perhaps when a task is open, there is a dropdown button near the checkbox. When selected, the user can choose the Date for completion first and then check off the box?
