Remove first/last name for contact field for attorney
Often I am not sure which pre-closer will be assigned to my file when I send my welcome email. For the closing attorney/pre-closer section, it would be nice to only enter the company name and the email address as a contact.

Detail Boxes: Add 2 New Types. See description
Add live hyperlink option. I like to add a direct link to the loop for each of my transactions. If the link could be live, then I’d have it show up in my transactions grid so that I could easily click to get to that loop and update something, etc. Add a checkbox option to the detail boxes. If this were an option, we could check off “Clear Termite Letter”, “Clear Septic Letter”, etc and have a nice simple view in the Transactions Grid of what’s left. In a dream world, the box would initially show the date the “Clear Termite Letter” is Due, but then once we receive it, the same detail box could have a checkmark. But I will settle for 2 separate columns (1. date date column + 2. Separate Checkbox to indicate that the Item Due was received). I have used emojis (blank grey box and then replaced with check mark emoji) before but it’s more cumbersome to get to those and add them in. I removed all of those due to this.

Add Arrows like the ones in my screenshot to Transactions Pages so they we can scroll through them based on whatever we sorted by in the Transactions View Grid.
This would be great because I could go to transactions page, sort by Closing date and do a quick run through of files. I currently have a detail box (column) for my agent/client’s name so I could sort by Agent and just click to run through. Please also make the “Next Key Date” a sortable column because then I could do a quick run through based on this.

This would be great because I could go to transactions page, sort by Closing date and do a quick run through of files. Key Date Banner at Top - Add Hide Completed Task Option + Add Option to Complete Task from Banner View!
Context- I’m a solo pro account: I’m currently using my Key Date banner as my working task list within each transaction to move more quickly through individual files. I really only want to see what is left that requires me to touch it. Once it’s complete, I’d love for it to be removed from the banner. Right now, if one task is very overdue but they date needs to stay as it was because it’s tied the roadmap, etc, there may be several completed tasks in between this past due task in the banner and the upcoming tasks that require my action. Obviously, I can scroll back to find it or I can look below and filter key dates in the larger task list, but if my banner only had tasks still requiring attention at the top, I could more quickly check in on each file. EVEN BETTER - please make it so I can complete the Key Date Banner Tasks from the Banner View instead of having to Open the individual task and complete it. Sounds silly but TC work speed heavily relies on how I can work “ON” my files, not “IN” my files. If these updates were made to the banner, even if I have to click “IN” my transaction, I can very quickly see where things are, check things off, without a million clicks or scrolling.

Declutter the Linked Dates Format in the Transactions Page. For each column, I don't need the parentheses to remember task is linked. I really just want a simple format date right here ie 2/6/26 or something along those lines. If some users want differentiation for linked tasks, the dotted underline is plenty.

Task "Today" View - Show "Past Due" in Red
I think it would be great in the TODAY view, to show “past due” tasks in red at the top. I don’t always remember to click on the “past due” category and I don’t want to miss them.

Add a Duplicate or Copy/Paste Option within Email/SMS Tasks within Workflows and within Individual Transactions
For Email & SMS specifically, it would be such a timesaver to duplicate or copy & paste email and SMS tasks. The body isn’t terribly cumbersome to copy and paste but it feels cumbersome to reselect which roles will receive each email over and over again. It would be most ideal if this could be used to create preceding tasks and dependent tasks too.

Allow smart tags in the Task Name
I was previously able to do this when email tasks were allowed to be shown on portal. It was super nice to be able to add a smart tag for closing time, etc. It takes up less space in the actual portal view so you can fit more in without having to scroll as much.

Add an "active" filter box within the History tab so we can also enjoy this wonderfully compact view active tasks too.
Even though it’s a history tab, the compact view is so nice, I’d love the option to click “active” to see the entirely of tasks remaining in addition to completed.

Picky Request - Profiles that don’t have a photo uploaded
The Client Portal is so pretty which is a great thing, but the person icon nekst to the contacts that don’t have a picture loaded makes it look sort of unfinished. Would it be possible to either show 1-nothing there 2- a square outline with rounded corners that matches the formatting of the other contact photos and has initials or 3- A minimal icon in a matching square outline with rounded corners that relates to their role? Ex: Attorney - scale icon, Lender-bank icon, Buyer- Key Icon, Seller- For Sale Sign? Just something that looks as intentional as the rest of the aesthetic. My ADHD send me on a journey to google image search their logos, pics, etc but that turns into a time suck. Perhaps, in the custom roles settings, there’s an option to uses to upload a default pic or role (if they even care), but then also having he option to add actual headshots for people later if you have them. 😬

Add option to edit contact or copy Transaction Party Contact Info within the Mobile App Transaction
I would like to click and make edits from here or be able to copy any contact details to paste elsewhere. I know we can use icons on the right to call or text, which is helpful but more often I’m just using to grab or correct info and then share without having to go into contacts section separately.

Add a Global Doc Inbox
I’d like to have an option to have one email I can send documents to in NEKST that serves as an inbox until next time I got in. Then once logged in, be able to move the doc to the appropriate transaction with a couple clicks and also with with option to make it visible in the portal at the same time so it’s not an additional step later. Also, would it be possible to have a notification within the list of Nekst docs if an attempt to email a doc to the transaction failed, maybe a reference to the file name or anything? I know we get the email autoresponder but something within the workspace would be nice too!

It feels cumbersome to make sure I’m including smart tag for the exact doc I need to attach. Alternatively, if I could have multiple docs under 1 label, that would be helpful. I could then include a line like “All new amendments (if applicable) are attached below”. I’m not sure if these are the right solutions, but hopefully this helps paint picture of the pain point so you can find the appropriate solution:)!
